Annie Sauls' Obituary
We the staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral home Humbly submit to the will of God and announce the earthly departure of Mrs. Annie Pearl Jackson Sauls.
Annie Jackson Sauls was born on March 9, 1927 in Wayne County. She went to sleep peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
She was the daughter of the late John Jackson and Lizzie Woods.
Annie accepted Christ at a early age, she loved to sing and loved beautiful flowers. Most of all she was a loving mother.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Lee Sauls, Sr.; A daughter: Annie Rebecca Sauls; one sister; Burnell Lane; six brothers, Jasper Jackson, Willie Jackson, Sylvester Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Frank Jackson, and L.D. Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories ; six daughters, Emma , Elma (Herman), Thelma of Belfast, NC and Diana of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jessie of the home and Dorthey of Greenville, NC; three sons: Jesse Lee Sauls, Jr., of Goldsboro,NC, Donald Ray Sauls, of the home and Rev. Ralph Sauls of Goldsboro, NC.
15 grandchildren, three of which were raised in her home, Dana Edward, and Cathy, 23 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
