Carol Elaine Sheppard's Obituary
This world, however beautiful,
Was never meant to be

We the staff of Serenity Memorial are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Carol Elaine Sheppard, 61, of Goldsboro, NC.
Carol Elaine Anderson-Sheppard, daughter of the late Mary Grace Hill-Anderson and Henry Anderson, was born on June 2, 1957 in Lenoir County, and entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Carol was educated in the Greene County Public School System.
Carol worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Sunbridge Nursing Home for several years.
Carol was preceded in death by her son, Thaddeus Sheppard Jr. and daughter, Sharon Nicole Sheppard.
Carol leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, Thaddeus Sheppard of LaGrange, NC, her children: Vickie Goss (Keith Richard Goss) of Roselle NJ; Jessica Sheppard of Goldsboro, NC; Claudette Sheppard of Goldsboro, NC; Jemaul Sheppard (Brenda) of Dudley, NC; Donald Sheppard of Goldsboro, NC; Bryan Sheppard of Perth Amboy, NJ; Winifred Sheppard of Goldsboro, NC; and Marcus Sheppard of Goldsboro, NC; three sisters: Rhonda Blackmon of Snow Hill, NC; Verna Paygar of Raleigh, NC; and Karen Anderson of Raleigh, NC; three brothers: Henry Anderson (Angela) of Goldsboro, NC; Michael Anderson of Mt. Olive, NC; Eric Anderson of Newark, NJ; one uncle Linwood Best of Raleigh, NC; twenty-six grandchildren; one great grandchild; ten nieces; fourteen nephews; three special friends, Deborah Scott-Bay of Newark, NJ; Linda Scarboro of Dudley, NC and Jacqueline Greene of Goldsboro, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
