Cedryc Lee Kennedy, age 39, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at UNC Chapel Hill hospital after complications from surgery.
Cedryc was born October 29, 1980 to the late Patrick Lee Gillis and Kathleen Elizabeth Kennedy. He worked many years of his life as a chef in the restaurant industry.
Cedryc leaves to cherish his memories: his fiance' Shannon Archerda, his daughter Sadie-Jade and his son Patrick all of the home; his Aunty Mommy Gladys (Martha) Kennedy; his aunts Octavia Gillis, Yvonne Gillis-Bethea, Sara Mendez, Sherry Dorsey; his uncle Derwin Gilli; his sisters Renita Kennedy-Dunn, Renee (Angelo) Smith, Raychelle (Jacob) Elder; his brother Robert Richey II; his nieces Ariel Dunn and Malia Begley; and numerous cousins including LaQuavia Roseboro, Genese Hogue, Mone' Bethea, and Undre' Bethea.
