Mr. Dennis Raynor's Obituary
Goldsboro- With profound sorrow and empathy, the management and staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Raynor and connected family to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Dennis Raynor, 65. Mr Raynor transitioned on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC.
Dennis James Raynor was born to Mary Raynor and Ralph Thompson on June 21, 1959, in Wayne County, NC. He received his formal education in the Goldsboro City School System and graduated from Goldsboro High School.
Upon graduating from high school, he began employment with Stackhouse Electric, where he worked for many years. For the later part of Dennis’ life, he repaired automobiles, affectionately known as “eyeballs.” he was very comical and always had a smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Raynor Lofton and Ralph Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories of his children, Quadreica Wellington-Grady, Dennis James Raynor II, Towanna Coley; ten grandchildren;1 great-grandchild; siblings: Billie Ray Thompson(deceased), Carolyn Kornegay (sister-in-law), Roger Raynor Arnold Raynor, Jerry Thompson (deceased), Keith Thompson (deceased), Debbie Thompson, Willie Frank Boyle, a close cousin Corey Jones, a very special friend (Wilma Newsome), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
