Mt. Olive - Henrietta Boone Howard, 78, transitioned on Saturday at the Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC.
Mrs. Henrietta Boone Howard was born in Wayne County, NC to Mary Flanagan and Leon McMillian on September 15, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Flanagan, her father Leon McMillian and one son Michael Howard.
She was employed by Sunburst Foods of Goldsboro, NC, until her health declined from stroke. She loved her music, flowers, and love to collect butterflies. She received her formal education in Carver High Schools.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter; Martha Howard, one sister; Loretta Boone McClain of Mt. Olive, NC; one brother; Charles F. Boone; two grandchildren; Lakeisha Pigford and Brandon Howard both of Mt. Olive; 3 great grandchildren D'Shawn Pigford, Karter Pigford, and Chloe Solice all of Mt. Olive, NC.; three nephews; Bernard McClain of Magnolia, NC; Monte Boone, and Christopher Boone; three special freinds; Lillie Hinnant of Goldsboro, NC, Connie Williams of Salemburg, NC; and Diane Garner of Mt. Olive, NC. and host of other relatives and friends.
At Mrs. Howard's request there will be no formal funeral arrangements.
