Jeffrey Patterson's Obituary
Jeffrey Allan Patterson, 49, died Thursday at Wayne UNC Health Care surrounded by his family.
Memorial services were held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro Seventh-Day Adventist Church, corner of Lee and Mulberry streets.
He was born Oct. 20, 1967, in Martin's Ferry, Ohio, to the late James and Mary Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his Parents James and Mary Patterson
He is survived by his wife, Monica Patterson of the home; his daughter, Rebecca Marie Patterson; sisters, Jessica Ann Garren and family and Jennifer Patterson (Tim); brother, James Patterson and wife, Lori; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Martin's Ferry High School in 1983.
He was a faithful employee of the Goldsboro News-Argus for 19 1/2 years.
He enjoyed trains and fishing. He liked going for walks at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park.
He was also an Eagle Scout.
Visitation was held Sunday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Goldsboro Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1000 E. Mulberry St.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to Boy Scouts of America and the American Kidney Foundation in Jeffrey Allan Patterson's name.
