Joyce was the daughter of the late William and Minnie Cross. She received her education in the District of Columbia public school system. On January 25, 2003, Joyce was united in marriage to William Washington Campbell. Joyce enjoyed fishing and driving her red tractor-trailer truck. Joyce worked for several trucking companies during her employment as a truck driver to include Swiss Trucking Company, US Express Trucking Company, and QVC shopping network.
Joyce leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband William Campbell Sr., her son Bernard Jackson, and a A host of nieces and nephews.
