Mr. Julian Richardson's Obituary
Wilson - With profound sorrow and empathy, the management and staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Richardson and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Julian Richardson, 83. Mr. Richardson transitioned at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, God called our father, Julian Earl, "Stan the Man" home while he was at Katty Askins Hospice Center in Wilson, NC. Julian was born January 18, 1942, to his loving parents, the late Nelson and Luevenia Richardson in Warrenton, North Carolina.
Our father, Stan, worked and retired from the city of Roanoke, VA for the public school system as a custodian. Our father dedicated his life to raising his daughters after the passing of his wife Cora Ann who preceded him in death. His love for his grandchildren was everything and knew no bounds.
Stan was preceded in death by his late wife Cora Ann Richardson, late daughter Vanita Clements, his grandson Arazeia Richardson and others. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Richardson (Jackie Richardson), Antionette Richardson (Daniel Simmons), Gary Richardson (Thelma Richardson) and Tanya Hale (D'Anthony Hale), Angela Richardson (Keith Harper), Paul Mumford, his sister, Helen Mitchell Mitchell, Mavis Rodriguez, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Stan the Man will be remembered for his love shown to all, his jokes and his stories from the good ole days, his delicious meals and we will certainly never forget his cool strut and his black silky hair.
Rest in Peace Daddy......Gone but never forgotten
To God be the Glory!!!
To the Richardson family, relatives, and all friends, the children of Stan, say thank you for your condolences and prayers...keep smiling and love each other as Christ loves us.
