Kimberly Michelle Batts' Obituary
It is with a sorrowful heart that we the staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home have the solemn duty to announce the earthly departure of Mrs. Kimberly Allen Batts Turner, 48, of Goldsboro, NC. Mrs. Turner finished her earthly race on Thursday, September 6, 2019, at her residence.
Kimberly Michelle "Allen" Batts, known to family and dear friends as "Kim" was born on September 26, 1970 to Kenneth & Glenda Allen. She departed this life on September 6, 2019 to return to her heavenly home. She will be most remembered for her bravery, passion to help others, and the special love she had for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She truly enjoyed life. She lived every moment free from fear, she never met a stranger, and had a smile that would light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Earl Allen; paternal grandmother, Shirley Allen Hornsby of Brooklyn, NY; paternal grandfather, Needham Benjamin Jarman of Rose Hill, NC; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt & Eula Mae Kornegay.
Kimberly leaves to cherish her memories a loving family that includes her husband, Richard Turner; her mother, Glenda Allen, three beautiful daughters: Jenita Jennings (Charlemagne) of Commerce, GA, Cquanica Matthewson (Shontrell) of Greensboro, NC, Latisha Tyler of Schenectady, NY; three siblings: Montrel Allen, Loshonda Allen, Kelley Allen. Kim will also be forever remembered by five grandchildren; five nieces; two nephews and a host of relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother:
104 Jessica Place Goldsboro, NC., of which they will also gather for the processional.
