I remember the day I came home from school and my aunt Glenda told me that my birth mom would like to meet me and I started crying I was only about 11 or 12 and when she called I remember her I fell in love with the way her voice made me smile because for once I knew I was loved by a family by someone. I miss her more than anyone could ever know. I only got to spend one year with her and never got to have physical contact but I will forever be greatful for the times I spent on the phone with her.
