Maurice Thomas Parker's Obituary
Mr. Maurice Thomas Parker, 48, of La Grange, NC, departed this earthly realm on Friday, December 20, 2019, at the Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born to the late Ruby Lee Parker and Offen Junior Davis on October 20, 1971 in Wayne County, NC.
He attended Goldsboro City Schools and would later further his education at Turner Job Corps, in Albany, GA.
HE was employed by TA Loving Construction Company for many years and was an avid foodie. He will most be remembered for his love for his children and a man who loved to laugh, joke and enjoy life; and cheer for his redskins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ruby Lee Parker and Offen Junior Davis; Two brothers; Preston Parker and James Davis and one sister Dianne Parker.
He leaves fond memories with his children: Shanice Washington of St. Petersburg, FL; Tykeem Wooten, Shiyon Wooten, D'Maurice Parker, Shykila Parker, Naveah Parker, Akil Parker, Jaiden Parker, 9 grandchildren; 6 sisters: Annette Joyner (Elton); Elliot Bryant (Terrance); Barbara Joyner all of La Grange, NC; Debra Streeter; Abigail Davis both of Goldsboro, NC, and Sheila Lanier (Terry) of Kinston, NC; 6 Brothers: Ronnie Parker (Diane); Offen Junior Davis, III; Johnny Davis; Antonio Davis all of Goldsboro, NC; Keith Davis of Rosewood, NC; and Linwood Parker of Seven Springs, NC.
