Goldsboro -The management and staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home extends its sincerest condolences to the family of Ms. Melissa Carol Davis, 49, who transitioned on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC.
Melissa Carol Pollock Davis was born to Jimmy Leroy Pollock and Alice Carolyn Pollock on May 11, 1970 in Wayne County.
She attended Wayne County Public Schools and enjoyed gardening and landscaping in her spare time.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Jimmy Pollock; one brother Johnny Leroy Pollock and one Uncle Leonard Irvin Pollock.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother; Alice Pollock; two sons: Joshua Shea Davis (Mindy), and James Spruill Jr.; three daughters: Brianna Nicole Pollock, Chelsea Renee Davis and Demeria Kaitlyn Danielle Peterson; one sister: Lorie Carver (Aaron); two nieces Lauren Carver, and Elaina; two nephews Aaron Carver II, and Jonathan David Pollock (Christina); Grandchildren: Desirae Shae Davis, Mikayla Skye Davis, Kaeli Serena Randolph and her companion James Spruill of the home, as well as a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
