Minister Patricia Ann Dunn's Obituary

With deepest sympathy, we the staff and management of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home announce the earthly departure of Minister Patricia Williams Dunn. Minister Dunn entered into eternal rest at the Wilson Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Minister Patricia Ann Williams Dunn, better known as "Pat" was Born February 10, 1951 to Mother Beatrice Shadding Williams and the late Goerge E. Williams in Wayne County, NC.
She was set free form her earthly labor and entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 16, 2018 .
Minister Patricia received her formal education in the Wayne County Public School System.
She graduated from Norwayne High School in 1969 and would go on to attend Wayne Community College in 1971 where she would become a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years.
In August of 1972 She married the love of her life, the late Rev. Robert Dunn, Jr.
Still a young woman, Patricia was ordained as a mother to the O.F.W.B. Conference. She served in many capacities in her own church or wherever help was needed.
There is without a doubt, Patricia loved to sing until her cup of joy, overflowed. She was not ashamed of spreading the gospel even through her praise and shout.
In 1999 Patricia was ordained to minister God's word. Her subject: "Get Rid of your Weights and Let's Go Higher." Her Text: Hebrews 12: 1-2.
She was preceded in death by her father, George E. Williams, husband, Robert Dunn, Jr., sister: Ethelene Jeannette, and 1 Brother Sam Williams.
She leaves to cherish and share her memories, her mother, Beatrice Shadding Williams; one son Robert Maurice (Tonya) Dunn of Wilson, NC; one daughter Alisa Michelle Dunn, and two grand daughters: Xzhariah A. Reid, and Zoe M. Reid of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two brothers: George (Carrie) Williams, Jr. of Philadelphia; Willie Williams of Eureka; Four sisters: Justine (Earl) Hobbs of Saulston; Linda Thompson of Eureka; Barbara (Larry) Artis of Stantonsburg; Teresa (Herbert) Lewis of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
