Mr. Abraham Roger Fuller's Obituary
Goldsboro - The Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors humbly announce the earthly transition of Mr. Abraham Roger Fuller, 74, of Goldsboro, NC. Mr. Fuller transitioned at the ECU Health Care Center, Greenville, NC.
Abraham Fuller departed this life on Sunday June 11th, at East Carolina Medical Center, in Greenville NC, surrounded by his family. Abraham Fuller was born to the late Kenly and Martha Wellington Fuller in Pikeville, N.C. Affectionally known as Roger to many of his friends and family. He was educated in the Wayne County School system, graduating from Norwayne High School Class of 1969, in Fremont NC.
Abraham later moved to Durham NC, where he worked for Eagle Rock (formerly known as Ready- Mix) until his health began to decline.
Abraham met and married Mozella , while living in Durham. Together the two of them traveled and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of his greatest joys was when he traveled to Memphis, T.N. to see his son. Abraham talked about that trip for a long time with anyone who would listen, and he would exclaim how proud and Happy he was of his accomplishments.
When Roger moved to Raleigh with his niece, he became a member of Bridge of Life Community Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Houston and later under the leadership of Pastor Reginald McDonald. Roger would serve in any capacity when he was able.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Nathaniel Fuller and Arthur Wellington. Abraham is survived by his children: Maurice Fuller (Chubby) of Memphis, Tennessee, Devona (Dolly) Fuller of Memphis, Tennessee, and Priscilla Lake of Los Vegas Nevada; his siblings: James T. Fuller (Linda) of Pikeville NC, Willie-Aaron Fuller of Goldsboro NC, Alberta Fuller of Goldsboro NC, and Esther Fuller Jones (William) of LaGrange NC; his grandchildren: Makayla Downes of Austin Texas, Matthew and Micha Fuller of Memphis Tennessee, India Mosely of Los Vegas Nevada, Vincent Mosely of Durham NC and One great grand child McKenzie Marie Trammell, of Austin Tx.A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
