Goldsboro - The management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors joins with the Dunn, Wooten and Connected families to announce the transition of Mr. Alquan J. Dunn, 26, who passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Selma, NC.
Alquan Jermique Dunn, was born on December 12, 1995, in Wane County, to ChukiNacole Wooten and Al Jerome Dunn, He was the second born of three children.
Queezy as he was affectionately known as loved his family. Quan was afather, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend! If Alquan knew you werefamily he would do anything for you. Queezy thought of himself as a chefand a basketball star. Some of his favorite dishes were fried chicken andsteak. He would smoke up the kitchen but cook it with love.
Alquan lovedhis daughter Alaia J. Dunn, she was his joy. Quan would spend time withher as her did on the day before his departure. Queezy loved a challenge,he would challenge himself at gaming, among other things. If you knewAlquan you know that his favorite place to be was at BOB's on Slocumb St.Alquan was a free-spirited positive person. Queezy always had a plan forsuccess and a dream in his heart. Alquan Dunn was a man, a man thatwas himself no matter what. Alquan graduated from Wayne CommunityCollege with his high school diploma in 2017, after attending GoldsboroHigh School for several years.
Alquan was a member of Grace and Mercy Mission Ministries, 164 RollinsRd., Goldsboro NC, 27534. While he was there he could be found in thechoir, and being a Pastor's Stewart.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Rosa LeeDunn, and maternal great-grandmother Betty R. Wooten and otherrelatives.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter: Alaia J. Dunn,parents; Mother: Chuki Wooten, and Al DunnHis siblings: Yamiaya Dunn, Alijah Dunn (Paternal Siblings) SheriJohnson(Georgia), Toric Best, Al Dunn Jr., Aljera Dunn; his Maternalgrandparents: Pamela & Ricky Hackney, DannyRay Simmons(Mt. Olive),(Paternal Grandparents) Nancy Dunn Poole (Kinston), and AljeromeThomas (Santa Monica, California); his Aunts: Lisa Hackney (Charlotte),Sequolia Dunn (Goldsboro), Natasha McKinnon Hunter, (MichaelJacksonville, Florida), Keke Johnson (Anthony, Goldsboro) his Uncles;*Michael Hackney(Goldsboro), Louis McKinnon, Jr.(Kinston) and a host ofother aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
