Mr. Bobby "O.T." "Big Bob" Ellis' Obituary
The staff and Management of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Ellis and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Bobby "Big Bob" Ellis, 61, who passed away at the Vidant Inpatient Hospice, in Greenville, NC.
Bobby "OT" Ellis was born in Wayne County on March 20, 1961 to the late Rozella Ellis and Magaline Wllis. He departed this life March 28, 20022 at Greenville Hospice Center.
Bobby attended Wayne County Schools. He loved to sing and his favorite song was "I want to BE At the Meeting." Some of his other favorite songs were "It's Gonna Rain" and Wait for My Child. He also loved chicken wings and potato wedges.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Rozsell and Magaline Elis; his brothers James Ellis, Columbus Ellis,Curtis Elilis, Federal Ellis and his sisters Alice Artis, Edna Faye Ellis, and Mary Ellis
He leaves to cherish his memories; two sisters, Shirley (Nathaniel) Underwood with whom he lived and Diane Davis of Washington, DC,; two brothers. Paul (Jackie) Ellis of Goldsboro and Rozelle Ellis Jr. of Jersey City, NJ , one sister-in-law, Linda Ellis, close friends, Farro Atkinson ,best friend, Tony Weeks, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
