James Earl Cox was born on July 16, 1961, He was predeceased in death by Louise Everette, Louise Cox, Leslie Cox, and Margaret Cox.
He departed this earthly life and transitioned on November 27, 2020.
He attended Wayne County Public Schools. Not only that he enjoyed his farm work and his family. Just to know him he always kept a smile on everyones face. He always made sure you was laughing before you left him.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life one son; Pastrada Person (Damita Mayhue-Person) of Goldsboro, NC., one daughter; Kira Cox in the Mountains, one grandson; Jaylin Person and one granddaughter Laniya Person, 12 brothers: Ronald Lee, Roland Lathan, Leslie Cox, Jr.,m of Goldsboro, NC, Roger Cox (Ella Mae) of Saulston, NC, Willie Cox, Michael Cox (Constance) of Goldsboro, NC, Rober Cox, Daniel Cox, of La Grange, NC, James Cox, Alton Atkinson, Joseph Cox, 5 Sisters: deceased (Diana Cox Jacobs (Wayne), Catherine Kornegay (Chris) of La Grange, NC, Sheila Gardner (Walter, Sr.), Kimberly Swinson, Annie Wade, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
