Mr. Norman "Skint" Hardy's Obituary
Goldsboro - The staff and Management of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Hardy and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mr. Norman Earl Hardy, 77, who transitioned at the Cape Fear Valley Health Care Center, Fayetteville, NC.

Norman Earl Hardy was born October 9, 1944, to the late Mary Hardy and John
Robert Hardy in Wayne County, North Carolina. He transitioned this life
March 17, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC.
Norman was educated in the Wayne County Public Schools and graduated
from Dillard High School with the class of 1965.
He was employed at Kemp Furniture Company until it folded. He was later
employed at Franklin Bakery until his retirement.
"Skint," as he was affectionately called, was a loving and kind person with a
razor-sharp sense of humor, he loved making people laugh! It was almost
never a time being in his presence that he would make you laugh.
"Skint's" favorite hobby was grilling; he took pride in his ability to make the
food delicious.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert
Lee Lane.
Norman leaves to cherish his memory: one sister, Angeline Hardy Humphrey;
one nephew, Tony (Shanonda) Hardy; one niece, Angela Kornegay; one
special friend, Shalanda Hall. A host of other relatives and friends.
