Mt. Olive - With Heartfelt Sympathy, We, The Staff and Management of Williams and Ashford Funeral Directors, join with the Wallace and connected families to announce the earthly departure of Mr. Tim Wallace, 87. of Mt. Olive, NC.
GOD, in his infinite wisdom, called Tim Wallace home on Sunday, October 30, in the comfort of his home.On April 4, 1935, Tim was born to William and Maybelle Wallace in Duplin County, North Carolina.Tim was educated in the Duplin County Public School System. His favorite hobbies were going to the Coast to fish and bringing the fish home for a fish fry. He also enjoyed hunting rabbits. He was an avid gardener, and what he grew flourished. Tim married Rosie Alberta Washington with a ready-made family of 6 on December 1, 1959, and to this family, nine more children were born.
The love that was shown by Tim was contagious in his later years in life. He loved hard and was loved even more.
Tim was the last to survive of his eight brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Maybelle; Brothers, Jack, Earnest, Preston, and Ralph Wallace; Sisters, Eva McGowan, Joyce Wallace, Margaret Wadell, and Mary Brown; Daughters, Delephine (D.P.) Fennell, Doris Jean Oliver; Sons, Alfred Washington, Ernest Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Margaret-Ann Hussey, Lorene (Willie) Strong, Clorinda (Earl) Bell, Patricia Bowman, Julie Wallace, Ricky Wallace, Pamela Wallace, Timothy Wallace, Rebecca McKinney, Lynette (Jimmy) Dorsey, Sandra Boyd, Johnny Robinson. Tim leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
