The Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Bernice Hill, 82. Mrs. Hill transitioned Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.

Bernice K. Hill was born on May 9, 1941, to the Late Eula Mae Kornegay and Roosevelt Kornegay, Sr., On Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 7 am, Mother Bernice K. Hill answered the Master's Call at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.
Bernice K. Hill saw the need for Christ in her life she joined Moses Chapel of Faison and reared her children under many sunrise services at the Prayer House under the leadership of Mother Butler and later united with St. Jude Church of Christ, Warsaw, NC, where she served on the Mother Board until her health declined.
On February 4, 1961, Bernice K. Hill was united in Holy Matrimony to Curtis Lee Hill. This union was blessed with three sons and a daughter. Bernice K. Hill was a kind and loving person and a friend to many. She will be sorely missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Lisa Hill of Knightdale, NC; three sons: Maurice Hill (Patricia) of Seven Springs, NC; Donnell Hill of Knightdale, NC; and Terry Hill of Warsaw, NC.; one brother: Horace Kornegay of Mt. Olive, NC; two sisters: Brenda McPhail ( Pastor Johnny McPhail) of Newton Grove, NC; and Glenda Allen of Goldsboro, NC; 18 grandchildren, two of the home; Curtis Hill and Michael Fryar; 22 great-grandchildren; one adopted son Justin Hill of Raleigh, NC; five sisters-in-law: Mamie Hill, and Dora Hill of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Ida Davis of Warsaw, NC, Gertrude Kornegay of Goldsboro, NC; and Linda Kornegay, Mt. Olive, NC; one brother-in-law Bobby Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends: Kathy Pearsall, Linda Kornegay, Mary Davis, Evelena Oliver, and Labiera Troupe
