Mrs. Pauline Sasser Robinson's Obituary
Mrs. Pauline Sasser Robinson, 81, formerly of Fremont, NC, died on Tuesday at the Bridgepoint Hospital of Washington, DC.
"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 4:6-8 KJV
Pauline Sasser Robinson was the daughter of the late Ambert and Essie Pearl Williams, born July 11, 1938 in Wayne County, NC by way of Fremont, NC. On Tuesday, October 08, 2019, God spoke and said, "Pauline, because I have seen your pain and heard your cries , I cast my mercy on your soul and give you sweet rest my child. "
Pauline accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Gospel Tabernacle United Holy Church in Fremont, NC. She associated with several churches in the Washington, DC. area.
Pauline truly loved her family and was especially fond and proud of her grand-great grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and was a fun loving person. In her younger years she was the life of social functions.
With her commitment and responsibility to her family she moved to Washington, DC to advance her career. Pauline retired from the Department o f Defense after several years of dedicated Government service. Her career provided her the opportunity to travel internationally. The traveling part of her job awarded her with many cultural experiences, that she proudly shared with the people she met over her 81 years of life.
Pauline leaves to cherish her memory, two sons: Kenneth (Ann) of Fremont, NC and Rev Terrell Robinson of Washington,DC. Great and adopted daughters Sherry Peterson of Hopkins, South Carolina. Grandchildren: Terrell, Jr, of California and Anthony, Kevin Robinson and Trinese Robinson of Washington, DC, greatgrands; Zion, Kevin and Zaniyah Robinson; one aunt; Naomi Sasser of Selma, NC; and 5 special cousins, Chester, Ida, Donna, Reggie, Tia, for being there.
A host of other relatives, cousins and friends.
