Dudley - We the Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors and Cremations regret to inform the family and friends of Ms. Angela Bass. Ms. Bass transitioned on Sunday at the Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Angela "Quanya" Bass born on October 16, 1974 was called home from labor to rest on February 6, 2022. Quanya attended Southern Wayne High School of Dudley NC, she later continued her education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Quanya was passionate, dedicated and hard-working. She had a big heart and enjoyed helping people in need. She loved her children and grandson dearly as well as her family and two dogs ("DJ" & "Jigga").She worked over 10 years in the healthcare field playing an instrumental part of providing quality care to people in need.Quanya had a love for interior design, thrifting, shopping, cooking and good music. She was stylish and kept up with the latest fashions. She was preceded in death by her father William "Bill" Bass; paternal grandmother Vennie Branch, paternal grandfather Charlie Bass; maternal grandmother Martha B.Winn; maternal grandfather, Henry Brinson.She leaves to cherish memories to; her mother; Ruby Bass (John) of Dudley, NC, her son, DeQuandre Garner of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Money`Bass (Calvin) of Snow Hill, NC, grandson Bryson Aytch of Snow Hill, NC. Four sisters; Jennette McPhail (Bruce) of Clayton, NC; Phyllis Warren (Allen) of Bayonne NJ; Carol Swinson (Charles) of Garner, NC; Jamica Hill (Eddie) of Dudley, NC; two brothers; William Bass Jr. (Vicky) of Goldsboro, NC, Timothy Bass of Goldsboro, NC; four nieces; Erica Pride-McCallop, Niyah Swinson, Imari Hill and Neveah Hill; eight nephews; Roosevelt Pride (Erika), Javell Pride, Keyontae Swinson, Tevin Pride, Danyis Bass, Timothy "BJ" Bass Jr, Ishmael Hill, Kaseem Bass; one great-niece Sakura Pride; three great-nephews Jaheam Pride (Arhtella), Akeam Pride, Jevon McCallop and a host of cousins, close relatives, friends and a special friend Floyd Dunlap. She will be missed dearly and forever remembered as "The Queen" of our family. Services of Love & Compassionate Care have been entrusted to Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors.
