Ms. Barbara Ann Pearson's Obituary
Mt. Olive - The Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors humbly announce the transition of Ms. Barbara Pearson, 74. of Mt. Olive.
Barbara Ann Pearson, the daughter of the late Wavley Faison Sr. and Clarice Stevens Robinson was born on August 3, 1948 in Duplin County North Carolina. Her earthly pilgrimage ended on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 as she peacefully slept into eternal rest at UNC Wayne Hospital in Goldsboro, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late John Pearson and her brother, the late Kenneth (Tony) Faison. At an early age, she joined Moses Chapel Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Faison, North Carolina. She was a 1966 graduate of Douglas High School, Warsaw, NC. She also attended Durham Business College. After her educational endeavors in North Carolina, she migrated to Baltimore Maryland. She was a dedicated and resourceful worker of Royal Farms and M & T Bank for more than 40 years. After her retirement, she returned to North Carolina.Her precious memories will always be cherished by her siblings: Wavely Faison (Beverly), Mary Hood (Bishop Ronnie Hood), Sharon Williams ( Reverend, Dr. Robert Williams), Deacon Johnnie Faison (Lauren), and a sister-in-law; Betty Faison. Her aunts include; Jeanette Bevans and Nancy Carol Faison (Albert). A first cousin; Minister Carl Faison, a God-son, Robert Joshua Williams, seven nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
