Goldsboro - The staff and management of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home & Cremations join with the Carr and Wilkinson families to announce the earthly transition of Ms. Carolyn Jean Wilkinson, 67, of Goldsboro, NC.
Carolyn Jean Wilkinson, Affectionately known as "Debbie" entered into eternal glory surrounded by her family at Wayne UNC Hospital on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the age of 67. Debbie was Born on December 30, 1953 and reared by her mother Naomi Thomas-Coley and had her schooling in the Wayne County public School District. Debbie Graduated from Goldsboro High School class of 71'. She was beloved by all of her family and many members of the community, to include her church family where she attended both Pentacostal Holiness Church of Goldsboro and New Stoney Hill also of Goldsboro. Debbie accepted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her life at the young age of 21. She birthed into this world her two beautiful daughters LaTasha Carr and Pamela Greaus. When her children became school aged, Debbie Worked at Wages Head Start of Goldsboro, nc in which she was a foster grandparent for a short time.
Debbie is preceded in death by (3) brothers Leroy Thomas, Lynn Thomas and Roderick Coley.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her mother Naomi Thomas-Coley of Dudley, NC; her sisters Mildred of Goldsboro, Marjorie of Dudley and Monshell of Dudley; her daughters Latash of Lagrange and Pamela of Goldsboro; (4) Grandchildren, (5) Nieces, (1) nephew and a host of family and friends.
