Fremont- It is with profound sorrow that we the staff and management of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home join with the Jones and connected families to announce the earthly departure of Ms. Herlene Jones, 59 of Fremont, NC.
On Friday July 23, 2021 Herlene Jones was called home for eternal rest. She was born November 10, 1961. She was one of three children born to the late Annie L. Jones and Norwood Forte.
She attended Wayne County schools and graduated from Charles B Aycock. She was a loving mother and an outgoing woman.
She was preceded in death by her (Son) Nicholas Lonta Jones, (Mother) Annie L. Jones. She leaves the sweet memories of joy and peace (2) sons: Nacarrias Tronta Jones of Fremont, NC Jeannautica Tyelle Jones of Fremont, NC (2) sisters: Annette Jones of Goldsboro, NC Francine Jones of Fremont, NC (5) Grandchildren Kei'Erah Green,Aliyah Henderson,Aiyana Jones,Promise Jones,Kashmeire Jones (1) Great-Gran Ayden Henderson(1) Special Nephew Stephen Ron'shea Jones of Goldsboro, NC (2)Special Friends Chauncey Simms of Fremont,NC Stephanie Smith of Goldsboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
