Lou Bertha Darden, 68, of 200 N Point Dr, Mt Olive, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at her residence.
Lou Bertha was born on January 9, 1952 in Wayne County to the late Richard Darden and Martha Lewis Darden. She served as a CNA for many years at Cherry Hospital in Goldsboro, NC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Maxine Teachey, Emma Grey Oates, and Mary Helen Darden Williams; Her brothers Albert Darden, Lonnie Darden and Jessie Darden; Her nephews Eric Teachey and Wadell Teachey and a niece Larice Darden.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; two sons: Anthony Darden (Terry) of Clayton, NC; Tadarious Darden (Brandy) of Godwin, NC; one daughter, Carlotta Winston of Lumberton, NC; 8 Grandchildren: Lashanda Darden, Ashley Darden, Isaiah Barnes, Breanna Darden, Cheyenne Darden, TJ Darden, Kelsey Winston, and Gracien Darden, 5 great grands; her siblings: Martha King (Curtis) of Newton Grove, NC and Willie Darden (Sandra) of Suttontown, NC.
