Ms. Michele Livingston's Obituary
Goldsboro - With Sincere Compassion and Understanding, we, the Management and staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors, join with the Livingston and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Ms. Michele Livingston, 72, of Goldsboro, NC. Ms. Livingston transitioned on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Michele Livingston was born on July 5, 1952, to the late Florence Livingston in Harlem, NY. She graduated from Harlem High School in 1969. After high school, she met her children's father and moved their family to Brooklyn, NY.
She was employed at Cherry Hospital for 20-plus years as a dietary aide before her retirement in 2016. She was not religious, but she knew God kept her. Her faith was infectious, and if she told you something would happen, she was usually more than accurate.
Michele was honest and nurturing, her family loved her, and she loved to cook and play cards. She was the most fantastic cook. She was a mother to all of our friends throughout our lives. She will be sorely missed by all who cherished and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Christine Livingston, and Christopher Livingston; three grandchildren, Zakiyah Livingston, Zailah Livingston, and Ariyah Livingston; two great-grandsons, Kaiden Girtley and Kam'den Abernathy; siblings Cheryle Livingston, Theodore Charles, Webster Livingston (deceased), and David Livingston; and a special friend, Jimmy Artis.
Services of Love and Compassionate Care have been entrusted to Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors and Cremations, LLC.
