Ms. Myrtle S. Spruill's Obituary
Goldsboro - The Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors join with the Spruill and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Ms. Myrtle Spruill, 76, of Goldsboro.
Myrtle Spruill was born August 28. 1946, to Leonard and Martha C. Spruill. She transitioned from this life on September 2, 2022.
Educated in the Wayne County Public Schools, she was formerly employed at Waynesboro Furniture and Wages Head Start in Goldsboro. As the matriarch of the family, Myrtle loved spending quality time with, and cooking for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed baking her sweet treats! when not baking, she was diligent in watching her favorite TV show, "The Young & the Restless."
She was a disciple of Bread of Heaven United Holy Church where she supported and loved her Bread of Heaven Church family with all her heart!
Myrtle was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a brother, Diamond L. Spruill.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charles E. Spruill, James D. Spruill, and Yolanda S. Spruill; brothers, Pastor Leonard D. Spruill (wife, Emma Jean), Jonathan Spruill, and James M. Spruill; grandchildren, C'Vardez (Teara), Saborah, Aquavis, Kamia, & Yzionexd; great-granchildren, C'Nyla, Aubree, Averie, Makynli, C'Nyjae, and Caleb. Her aunts, Marie Smith, Evangelist Eartha (husband, Linwood) Wooten, and Catherine Cox.
