Ms. Stella Coley's Obituary
Goldsboro - The Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors, humbly announce the earthly transition of Ms. Stella Coley, 87. Ms. Coley transitioned at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC, Friday, December 22, 2023.
Stella Lee Coley was born on June 16, 1936, in Newton Grove, NC to the late Joe Lee and Annie Mae Cooper Lee. She parted this life on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville NC.
She graduated from Central High School in Goldsboro NC, received certifications as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Tax Preparer, and Notary Public. She worked and retired from the Textilease Uniform Services and Cherry Hospital State of NC.
Stella is survived by one brother, Troy Lee, four children and their spouse. Brenda (Dr. Ernest) Jackson, Gwendolyn Coley, Maurice Coley, Tiffany Coley, twelve grandchildren Rod, Dequan, Michelle, Markisha, Shanika, Maurice Jr, Aaliyah, Jayson, Tyrese, Danielle, Demetrius, Elizabeth, sixteen great grands Trey, Andre, Luke, Tamara, Jasmine, Dequan Jr, Raquanda, Raquan, Diamond, Destiny, Iya'nah, Ameya, Rico Jr, Kadynce, Kormorah, Nivea and ten great grands. She is preceded in death by one child Stephanie Coley Daniels, one brother Eugene Ingram and one sister Dorothy Lee Scott.
She loved and enjoyed jewelry making, crocheting, making oils for aches and pains, and gardening. In the community Stella helped people with tax preparation and any notary needs.
Stella will be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
