Clinton - With profound sorrow and empathy, the staff and Management of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors humbly announce the earthly transition of Ms. Teresa "Pat" Elizabeth Armwood, 87. Ms. Armwood passed on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.
Teresa, affectionately known as "Pat" to all who knew her, was born on October 29, 1936. She was the 1st out of the 13 children born to Wiley and Evelyn Armwood. Pat loved to sew and cross stitch and was often asked by family and friends to make alterations. Due to love for the children and the big heart she had many people called her grandma as soon as they met her.
"Pat" was proceeded in death by her parents Wiley and Evelyn Armwood. granddaughter Latrelle Bowden 2 sisters Shirley Johnson and Frances Carter, and 5 brothers Wiley Jr., William, Donnell, Foster, and Ashe Armwood.
She leaves to cherish "The Light of Her Life" her 4 daughters; Gwendolyn Bowden, Robin Armwood, Anna Tatum (Will), Amanda Faison (Gary), Nine Grandchildren, Robinson Jr. Whitney Armwood, Darrius Robinson, Dominique Steadman, Caitlin Faison, 2 sisters Hepsi Armwood and Bernetha Jones (Rufus), 2 Brothers Almond and Theodore Armwood, 1 aunt Evelyn Armwood, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
