Ms. Tyeffa DeShonda McKinney, 36, of Goldsboro, NC., traded her earthly home for a home more eternal on Monday, January 13, 2020, at the Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC.
She was born to Ida McKinney and Dennis Tyrone Best on January 13, 1984.
She was pre deceased by her step father Walter L. Speight, Jr. who was very dear to her.
She attended the Goldsboro City Schools and was a 2003 Graduate of Goldsboro High School.
She was an active member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Tate.
She loved attending church. She will most be remembered for her infectious smile and her love of family and laughter.
She leaves fond memories with her parents: Ida McKinney Speight and Dennis Tyrone Best; one brother: Jammy O'Trayl McKinney; one special brother; Derrick Wooten; 5 sisters: Donnecka McKinney, Florrena Brinson, Sharrecka Brinson, Katrina Williams and Diamond Williams; maternal grandmother; Geraldine Raynor; 2 half sisters: August Hobbs and Jana Kinsey.
Four special friends: Laurenthia McIntyre, Iesha Michelle Cannon, Shonte Wright, and Dominic McClendon as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
